Datacenters in Switzerland

All Infomaniak infrastructures are located in Geneva, Switzerland.
In fact we own two datacenters and we offer you the possibility of hosting your own servers at our Vernier site.
These datacenters are set up with some of the market's highest levelled performances equipment, to significantly reduce your IT systems' operationnal risks.

A large secured space

14 watch cameras on site.
You can access your servers 24 hours a day. The access is controlled and a badge is required to enter.
Our cabinets allow you to install your servers from 3U up to one or several racks.

An uninterruptible and inverted power supply

Independant but parallel operated uninterruptible power supplies provide a redundant protection against power outage. The electrical infrastructure has a 20-hour autonomy generator.

High-performance network link

The bandwidth is guaranteed at 100Mbits (from our 4x10 Giga transit plus peering network). Two fiber inlets inside the datacenter are supplied by two different companies : Services Industriels de Geneve (Geneva Industrial Services) and Swisscom. We do our best to keep 50% of the bandwidth available to absorb unpreventable or isolated events.

Air conditionning

The server rooms are equipped with 6 redundant air cooling systems that feature the free cooling technology when required.

A fresher air blast comes from the outside in addition to the existing cooling system. When in action, a processor chooses between the existing cooler or the free cooling system for energy saving purpose. These savings can go up to 75% without compromising the highest standards of datacenter cooling.

It's possible to get a second cable on the same vlan to provide redundancy.

24/24 network monitoring

All equipement are monitored live by our experienced system administrators. Plus, our equipment is conceived to evolve with technological evolutions and are subject to regular controls.
